Poster series intended for the OS parnerships between humans and inanimate objects.
A series of experimental typographic explorations inspired by and using Raymond Queneau's text 'Exercises in Style'
A poster I did for Black History Month 2010. I patch-pieced seemingly disparate figures from African American history to create a living history for the present. The poster uses line conventions of African American quilting along with archival-style dot patterning.
An exploratory piece I did which applied global UFO sighting data to create statistical and graphic forms for exploring cultural anthropology.
The logo that was the base for the Sun Sun identity system. Since they sold seafood, I used the two esses to create a graphic red fish for them to have.
This is a book I compiled that chronicles the evolution of modern horror in American cinema, starting with Psycho in the year 1960.
Re-interpretation of the classic "Take on Me" video rotoscoped music video 1986 by Aha. Original video explored a secret love, while this short remake explores the burdens associated with secrets in general. Created by: Max Batt. Actors: Anna Batt, Ashley Cappell. Music: A.C. Newman.
A series of business cards for a new Cafe Tempo that featured these vector graphics. I saught to communicate their mission of fresh and organic cuisine with clean, bold forms.
A portrait of a friend I made with ink and water-color after he won $2000 in a Reno Airport slot machine and henceforth commisioned me to paint him.
An album concept from early 2008 for Justice's Cross album. The packaging mocks neon club signage and the interior act as a neon club cathedral, centered around a French gothic church as a nod towards their Parisian heritage.
I made this poster to infuse pacifism in the constant battle: print vs. web via their respectve color schemes: Red / Green / Blue v.s. Cyan / Magenta / Yellow / Black.
A poster concept I did in early 2008 that plays off of Vanderslice's critically acclaimed "White Dove" single.
