A poster I did for Black History Month 2010. I patch-pieced seemingly disparate figures from African American history to create a living history for the present. The poster uses line conventions of African American quilting along with archival-style dot patterning.

An exploratory piece I did which applied global UFO sighting data to create statistical and graphic forms for exploring cultural anthropology.
This is is a website concept I did for Kearny Street Worshop in early 2008. Being a pan-Asian arts collective, I used to hanko and other subtle Asian cues throughout.
The logo that was the base for the Sun Sun identity system. Since they sold seafood, I used the two esses to create a graphic red fish for them to have.
This is a book I compiled that chronicles the evolution of modern horror in American cinema, starting with Psycho in the year 1960.
Re-interpretation of the classic "Take on Me" video rotoscoped music video 1986 by Aha. Original video explored a secret love, while this short remake explores the burdens associated with secrets in general. Created by: Max Batt. Actors: Anna Batt, Ashley Cappell. Music: A.C. Newman.
An installation from early 2009 that posed as a community message board but was unstaplable due to steel behind the postered notices. "If I can't dance, I don't want to join your revolution."
A conceptual piece I did in 2008 imploring office workers to color-by-numbers to a happier workplace. The color key was encoded in the pagination.
A large promotional mailer I created for a show that was to be at the Yerba Center for the Arts. I focused on the evolution of toys for inspiration here.
A movie poster for the film I Breed Ghosts released in Summer 2009, Chicago. The repitition is meant to play off the lead character's schizophrenic sensibilities.
A series of business cards for a new Cafe Tempo that featured these vector graphics. I saught to communicate their mission of fresh and organic cuisine with clean, bold forms.
A poster for the Straight-To-DVD horror film about zombies taking over corporate America!
A logo concept for The Bridge Project, which seeks to unite the comic communities of Portland and The Bay Area.
An online calendar created for Raindance NYC to showcase their DJ + Artist line-up for the Fall 2008 season. The aim was to create something smooth and European.
I made these postcards in 2007 after a series of vivid dreams I had involving many airplanes crashing into roller coasters. They cards were all made with blockprint stamping.
This playbill/ poster was for the L.A. theatre debut of Burn This, the Lanford Wilson classic that explores a New York woman's anguish and relationships after she is met with an unexpected trauma
An LP cover for a Cuban rock group, Delixilio, headquartered in NYC. These musicians and their fans connect with their Cuban heritage through music, though they live in the U.S.
A portrait of a friend I made with ink and water-color after he won $2000 in a Reno Airport slot machine and henceforth commisioned me to paint him.
A poster I made for a going-away party for an Oakland designer, hence the overlay textile patterns throughout.
My first LP cover, from 2007. For an electroinic group in L.A. known as "Raspberry Cocaine." The imagery is pretty self-explanatory.
A Jersey for Team Brad, dedicated to a former Lifecycler who is no longer with us. Miraculously along the Lifecycle route is a town, Bradley, California, which serves as the backdrop here.
Visit AIDS Lifecycle.
An album concept from early 2008 for Justice's Cross album. The packaging mocks neon club signage and the interior act as a neon club cathedral, centered around a French gothic church as a nod towards their Parisian heritage.
I made this poster to infuse pacifism in the constant battle: print vs. web via their respectve color schemes: Red / Green / Blue v.s. Cyan / Magenta / Yellow / Black.
A poster concept I did in early 2008 that plays off of Vanderslice's critically acclaimed "White Dove" single.
